Qualifications

Joe Fahy ​is a multi-disciplinary Artist and Designer with work in areas of media art, painting, sculpture and interaction design. A lot of his work focuses on holding a strong conceptual and speculative underpinning developed through intensive research. Previous projects have spanned a wide range of areas from "The Minecraft Gallery" (2020), a fully functioning virtual art gallery, to a recreational drug harm reduction project "Smart Horse" (2021) and showcasing a sustainability design project "SeaFloor" (2018-2021) in the Science Gallery Dublin.

Connoisseur

He covers everything stylistic. Form, aesthetics the works, his keen eye for composition is a great advantage to the team; and just look at at him, he’s fabulous.

​Organiser

We call on him when we need something done, from exhibitions to parties he’s got it covered. He’s used to taking control of the room and delegating tasks to get the job done. He’s hosted numerous large scale events in Dublin City under the music & art collective CVC.

​Artist

He’s just kind of weird but comes in very handy when we need someone to help us articulate what we are trying to express. He’s eloquent, philosophical but also rather arrogant and dismissive sometimes to his own dismay. Great for ideas, things to write thesis’ about but not very nice to talk to.

Recreationalist

Hes good at kicking back, relaxing and catching a pint with his compatriots. Always up for a laugh; Conversation flows, like €2.64 cans from Tescos. Great asset to any recreational activity except dancing.

​Bicycle

Probably the most under-rated member of the team, he gets us around from A - B (sometimes even C) He’s quick with a nice 48:17 gear ratio and light enough to be thrown over the shoulder and ran up approximately 5 flights of double ceiling stairs ​

Adult

He goes for walks up hills, drives to the beach, wears appropriate footwear, you know the grown up type stuff. He’s good at focusing, staying calm in intense situations (almost scarily calm). A good leader and rational thinker.

Maker

His skills are unparalleled in the making field from physical to digital he can do.. most of it, but the things he can’t do he figures out how with the help of old uncle Google. His skills in physical construction are exceptional with an engineer for a father, if its not flush, it means no dinner. So he understands the importance of minor details that are seen as unimportant to some.

Ideator

The ideas guy one of the most important members of the team, great for generating masses of ideas and excellent as a new perspective to projects that come to a dead stop. He has been responsible for a lot of our greatest achievements. Here he is seen pictured in an impromptu 5 minute design sprint; no table is too small.

Sustainability King

He doesn’t come around much but when he does he’s good at winning quizzes about sustainability and being really really fucking annoying. Look, see, he saved the world with a bamboo toothbrush.
